It’s that time of year, the dreaded office Christmas party. Will Norman in accounts do his embarrassing dad dance? Will Doreen need her hair held back while she yaks in the loos? And will the glass on the photocopier get abused once again?!
As well as specialising in stylish wedding discos, this year we decided to book in a limited number of Christmas parties for our clients. A limited number soon turned into pretty much every night in December! Christmas was booked up with discos at The Hotel Du Vin in Henley, Ashridge House in Berkhamsted, Macdonald Compleat Angler in Marlow and The Crazy Bear in Beaconsfield to name just a few and so far we are having a blast!

Our Dj set up for Persimmon Homes Christmas Party at the Hotel Du Vin in Henley
After the success of 2 Christmas parties at Ashridge House in Berkhamsted we were please to be asked back for their Christmas Staff Party. Elite events supplied the uplighters and we were only too happy to supply the disco playing alongside the staff band.
The night started off with the band opening the show and playing approx 45 minutes of 60s/70s music. We then took over and played a mix of new and old with some kisstory classics thrown in.
We had a great crowd in front of us and kept the dance floor full all night long. After the last song played with tried to ignore the “one last song” chants but eventually caved in and ended on Fatboy Slims ‘Praise you’. This was definitely the right choice and went down a absolute storm!
Thank you Ashridge House and everyone involved in this one. We had a blast!
22nd December meant our last Christmas party at The Hotel Du Vin in Henley On Thames. I managed to get a few snaps of our dj set up complete with our purple uprights before the party started!
