Royal Berkshire Hotel Wedding DJ

Looking for a DJ for your wedding at The Royal Berkshire Hotel?

I was lucky enough to be booked by Thomas and Katie to be their wedding DJ at The Royal Berkshire Hotel. We arrived in the morning to set up the equipment so everything ran smoothy in the evening and we wouldn’t have to set up around the guests.

Thomas & Katie’s first dance was ‘Proud’ by (Sandy) Alex G and the couple also chose the next 3 songs to be played in order. We started off with lots of Motown, 60s, 70s and then as requested by the groom, went into a mini indie disco! We then played a awesome garage set and ended on the party classics.

The bride and groom had chosen ‘My Friends’ by LCD Soundsystem as the last song of the night and I gathered everybody onto the dance floor to finish the evening with a bang!

Dorton House Wedding DJ / Maddy & Max’s wedding

We were back DJing at Dorton House last week this time for Maddy & Max’s wedding. Max & Maddy decided against having a first dance so we started the evening off with some dance classics and once the guests started coming in from outside we switched over to some Rnb, Old School and Motown and disco classics.

We can honestly say that we have never seen a night so busy! There was no room on the dance floor all night long and everyone had a absolute blast!

EF Summer Garden Party at Ashridge House

We were very pleased to be booked by EF to DJ at their summer garden party this year. Funfair rides, ice cream, live music, hippies everywhere, BBQ, mexican food and DJing with my sunglasses on. Thame Barns Centre Wedding DJ – Holly and Harry

The hottest day of the year so far meant that most people were out in the court yard and garden enjoying the sunshine when we arrived to set up. We went with the white starlight DJ booth and installed uplighting down both sides of the barn.

Holly and Harry’s first dance was ‘You And Me Song’ by The Wannadies and they also picked the 2nd song of the evening ‘Kiss Me’ by Sixpence Non The Richer. The dance floor was packed at this point and we went on to play to a really cool set list with some great indie tracks. Mumford And Sons, Florence & The Machine, The Killers, George Ezra, David Bowie & Pulp all went down a storm. We mixed these in with a few classics for the older guests and the dance floor was booming!

Aynhoe Park DJ – Tracy & Bens Wedding

From the moment we stepped through the door this venue absolutley blew me away! It’s the most creative, crazy, quirky place you can imagine. Filled with taxidermy, amazing pieces of art and a great atmosphere. Ben and Tracy booked me to DJ at their wedding in The Orangery and then again in the venues very own nightclub hidden away underground.

We started with the first dance (Eric Claptons ‘Wonderful Tonight’) and then went into some classic Motown, disco and 80s. We finished off with some RnB, Hip Hop and 90s dance anthems and a full dance floor! We said our goodbyes and headed down to the hidden nightclub in the basement where the groom was on the decks belting out some old school garage tracks! We took over for the last hour and a half and played rnb, hip hop, and some classic house. The atmosphere down here was unreal and 3am came around far too early! We don’t really play many weddings like this one and we enjoyed every minute of it!

Wedding DJ Lains Barn – Annie & Andys Wedding

When Annie & Andy contacted me to DJ at their wedding at Lains Barn I was only too happy to meet them both at the venue so we could have a chat in person. We went through various song choices and Annie and Andy asked me if I could remix a song for their first dance. Something I was very excited about doing. They wanted ‘Came here for love’ by Sigala. Starting off slow and acoustic and then breaking into the original dance version of the song. I love projects like this and set to work on it as soon as I got home!

After a few emails backwards and forwards we had the perfect cut of the track and it was all ready to go. We arrived at the venue in the morning to set up our rustic light up letters so the couple could use them all day for their wedding photos. We came back in the evening and set up our uplighting in the bar area of Lains Barn and also in the barn where the party would be held. We used our white starlight DJ booth with our moving head lights on podiums. Its really important to me that everything fits in with the venue and the lights and disco doesn’t look over the top. I hate seeing pictures of tacky looking dj set ups in beautiful venues. Less is most definitely more!

After getting Annie and Andy onto the dance floor and making sure all guests were gathered around we started the first dance. From there we went into some Motown, 60s, 70s, and mixed some 80s in with modern tracks and some house music. We had a totally full dance floor all night and it was such a great evening. Thank you to Annie and Andy for a amazing party and I’m truly glad everyone had a great time. I really do love my job!!
